SOME DIFFERENT APPROACHES TO ACRYLICS
Tutor: Jo Tyson
Sorry this Class is Full – Waiting List Available Though
Students will learn a variety of techniques to start a painting – ways to overcome reluctance to mark a pristine canvas or paper and ways to create the foundation of a work. Students will complete a painting each day. We’ll look at different artist models and styles, and consider different approaches to creating a painting.
While I have a light hearted approach to teaching and guide with a very light hand I am very serious about my students gaining satisfaction and truly learning new ways of mark making and painting.
I will provide acrylic paint, brushes, pencils, charcoal and wet strength paper, water jars, rags and paint palettes. Students are welcome to bring any of their own if they wish. The course is suitable for people with experience in acrylics, but beginners are welcome.
