Class No 203 – fee $420

Class Full – Waiting List Applies

Let’s free up our brush strokes on this five-day watercolour course.  Watercolours are such a wonderful medium to express yourself and produce immediate beauty.  With a variety of subject matter Jacky will show you how to produce flowing washes, how individual brushes work and the importance of the correct balance of water and pigment.

Whilst covering topics such as landscapes, trees, buildings, figures, boats and water you will brush up on concepts such as tone, hue and chroma, plus atmospheric and linear perspective.  Jacky will demonstrate techniques step by step and give you plenty of time to practise and complete paintings.  Generally you will paint a full painting every day with build-up exercises each morning.  To make the most of the beautiful landscape there will be an outdoor painting opportunity mid-week and for early risers optional sketching before breakfast and a nice cafe to warm up in and sketch!

The course will suit beginners, intermediate and experienced.
