PRINTMAKING – HAND COLOURED LINO CUT

Class Full, waiting list applies

In this fun and interactive five-day workshop we will explore relief printmaking through the medium of lino cut. Lino is a versatile and very effective printmaking medium which is easy to carve and print. We will be hand colouring our prints with watercolour to create beautiful and unique results.

The main course outcome of the workshop will focus on producing a hand-coloured limited edition Lino cut print. A strong focus will on your own personal development of imagery and creative mark making processes.

All aspects of image development and transferral onto the lino, carving, inking, registration and printing using a variety of methods will be covered. Techniques in watercolour will be explored and developed to enhance your work.

This workshop is suitable for beginners and those with some printmaking experience.
