Fly Tying – Monday and Tuesday

If you are a keen fisher or a curious beginner, this course offers the opportunity to learn and refine their skills in fly tying for fishing our rivers and streams.

The course will cover the basic tools and techniques of fly tying. By the end of the course, you will have practical patterns for both the local area and other parts of the country.

This is the opportunity to gain much from the experienced and knowledgeable tutor. There will also be stories told and experiences shared.

Mike is a noted fly fishing expert; he has been flying fishing for over 50 years and has been a teacher of the art for more than 40 years. For many years he has been the angling correspondent for the Otago Daily Times. He has published books on the topic and is a respected member of the angling community.
